Brief background:
I made my first website over two years ago (see below) as I was and still am a fan first and an Elvis UK vinyl collector second. After publishing that site I thought to myself that Elvis had left us with so much recorded material; studio songs, interviews and live performances that I wanted to try and put something together that followed his life on a daily basis. Something like a diary. Using the "Day By Day" book I had already made an interactive database for personal use and collected images and clips for over twenty years, trying to match up every image or document. So for the last two years I have been putting my second website together. It starts from the beginning of the Presley story and I had originally stopped just before 1964 as it will probably take another 3 or 4 years to finish. The coronavirus made me think I may as well release it early as there will be many fans stuck at home and might like to spend some time here. I still don't know what the feedback will be. so I've either wasted two years of my life or I know what I will be doing for the next few..... There is no intention of using this site or Elvis' name to make financial gain, it is strictly for educational purposes.
please enjoy.
