HOME RECORDINGS - Sam Thompson's House

1317 Favell Drive, Memphis, Tennessee.

Elvis and Linda went to the house that Elvis bought for her brother Sam. They spent the evening relaxing and singing blues numbers, as well as other old favourites like "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Spanish Eyes". Elvis and Linda even sang a couple of duets together "Your Life Has Just Begun" and "Teardrops". Sam managed to capture these moments on tape.

Sometime in early November, RCA released a new studio album "Raised On Rock/For Ol' Times Sake" (APL1-0388). The album contained songs recently recorded at Stax in Memphis. The sleeve stayed through to form and used a live shot that had nothing to do with the album content.
