RCA issued a new quadrophonic gatefold double album titled; "Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite" (VPSX-6089). This was the live recording from his January 14, live performance at the H.I.C. Arena in Hawaii. The album mostly consisted of songs that were part of his show around that time with a few additions like "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Welcome to My World". The front cover used a "Satellite" shot from his road tour in early 1972 superimposed from earth, while the back read "We Love Elvis" in various different languages. Early pressings used a die-cut front cover that allowed the front image from the inner sleeve to appear.
