RCA Camden issued "Burning Love and Hits From His Movies" (CAS-2595). The interesting thing about this album was it included both sides of Elvis' current smash hit, but on a budget label. The rest of the material was selected from a wide choice of soundtracks; "Kissin' Cousins", "Spinout", "G.I. Blues", "Fun in Acapulco", "Blue Hawaii", "Viva Las Vegas", "Girls!, Girls!, Girls!" and "Double Trouble". The front cover included a live shot from Elvis on the road this year and the rear sleeve promoted his other releases on Camden. It also pointed to Elvis' new "Aloha from Hawaii" album which was to be released in early 1973. Even though it was yet to be recorded. Early pressings included a free photograph.
