In preparation for the festive season RCA issued "Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas" (LSP-4579). The original Elvis Christmas Album had continually sold well every Christmas since it's initial release in 1957. This album wasn't as strong material wise, but there were still some good tracks to be found. The fornt cover showed Christmas baubles that included a Santa Elvis, while the back promoted three sacred albums, with the latest edition being the recently released Camden album.
