RCA released their latest Elvis single that used material from his live stint in Vegas and the Memphis sessions. "The Wonder of You"/"Mama Liked the Roses" (RCA 47-9835). The A-side was an overdubbed live performance of Ray Peterson's "The Wonder of You" recorded recently during Elvis' second engagement in Las Vegas and the B-side was a sentimental ballad recorded at American Sound Studios. The front of the sleeve used a photo from the movie "Speedway" and promoted the fact that his new live album "On Stage" was to be released soon.
