There had been arguments in the studio with Felton Jarvis and Chips Moman about publishing of the song "Suspicious Minds", which was owned by Moman. This was eventually sorted out, in Moman's favour. Still, there was a growing division between Felton Jarvis and Chips Moman, as Jarvis felt that Elvis was being taken away from him.
