RCA issued the new Elvis single (RCA 47-9670). The A-side was "If I Can Dream" the closing tune for the upcoming TV Special, the B-side "Edge of Reality" taken from the movie "Live A Little, Love A Little." The front of the sleeve used a publicity photo from the movie.

Sometime in November, RCA released an album sponsored by the Singer corporation as part of their sponsorship deal with NBC for the TV Special. It mostly contained various movie tracks plus a live performance of "Tiger Man" from the special. The front cover used a publicity shot from the TV Special and the back cover promoted Elvis' gold records series and two gospel albums.
