Hal Wallis wrote to Colonel Parker a long letter and expressed his concern over Elvis' appearance. Wallis felt it has deteriorated significantly since "Roustabout", and referred to responses from fans who say something must be "radically wrong" with Elvis. Wallis also said Elvis' hair was too fluffed up, too black and looks too much like a wig. The bottom line was that Elvis doesn't look like a Navy frogman, for his role in "Easy Come, Easy Go"
