RCA Victor (LPM-3450)

RCA released a "tenth anniversary" album "Elvis for Everyone" in both mono and stereo formats. This was to celebrate the fact that he signed with the label ten years ago. The original title for this album was "Today Only", but then it was announced that it was an anniversary album (with no explanation as to what occasion it marked) and the title was changed. Although it was the first LP since "Pot Luck" to include unreleased, non-movie songs, the songs, of course, were from old sessions. Whether meaning to or not, the cover art with Elvis smiling in a "Girls! Girls! Girls!" publicity shot, appeared to reveal something of the album's intent, with a painting of a cash register and the RCA trademark dog, Nipper. The back displayed reproductions of the covers of fifteen of Elvis' twenty-two albums, with the income that each has generated printed above.

"Elvis For Everyone" (LPM/LSP-3450)

Songs:

Side 1: "Your Cheatin' Heart", "Summer Kisses, Winter Tears", "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers", "In My Way", "Tomorrow Night", "Memphis, Tennessee"

Side 2: "For the Millionth and the Last Time", "Forget Me Never", "Sound Advice", "Santa Lucia", "I Met Her Today", "When It Rains, It Really Pours"
