"A Day in the life"
Elvis: "A Day in the Life" August 1, 1965, (Sunday)
525 Perugia Way, Bel Air, Los Angeles, California?
At some point during the summer Elvis urged everyone in the group to read Timothy Leary's 1964 "Psychedelic Experience"
and Aldous Huxley's "The Doors of Perception" while he also encouraged Red and Sonny West and Alan Fortas to try LSD
under his supervision. Later in the summer Elvis served the group marijuana brownies, obviously fascinated by the psychedelic experience.
