1963

Elvis continued making 'travelogue type' movies in Hollywood and Priscilla arrived from Germany to live in Memphis with his parents full-time. While working in Hollywood Elvis met and fell in love with his co-star Ann-Margret. His singles still made the top ten but didn't reach the top of the pop charts quite as often. The R&B chart was discontinued as the main pop chart was heavily represented by R& B artists. C&W singer Patsy Cline tragically lost her life in a plane crash and American President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was mind-numbingly assassinated in Dallas in front of the TV watching American public. His supposed assailant, Lee Harvey Oswald, was also murdered on live television by Jack Ruby.
