The William Morris Agency informed Hal Wallis that Elvis' name had been used without permission in an advertisement for Coppertone suntan lotion placed in the June issue of the Ladies' Home Journal. Stella Stevens was pictured in a swimsuit in connection with the film "Girls! Girls! Girls!". The Colonel forced Wallis to put a stop to the advertising campaign.
