Filming continued in Hollywood. The movie title by now had evolved to "Pioneer Go Home" but Producer Walter Mirisch liked the song "Follow That Dream", so he chose it as the movie's title. Director Gordon Douglas didn't agree. "It sounded like a Doris Day movie," he said.
